The University of New South Wales (UNSW) Learning Centre has developed a guide on the report writing process that explains the difference between abstracts, introductions and conclusions, and provides advice on how to present a report. It includes a short introductory video that outlines key tips for writing good reports.
Deakin University has created a report guide that outlines the purpose of a report, how to write a report, types of reports, typical report formatting and layout, and includes links to further useful report writing resources.
The Queensland University of Technology (QUT) hosts a report writing guide that includes a more detailed outline of an example report writing structure and a checklist you can use to check that you have included all of the relevant report sections.
