Online Curriculum Resources

The Online environment provides ready access to teaching materials, class activities, assessment items, lesson plans and much more.

The PracResources Wiki was developed collaboratively to help gather and share useful site across the internet. You are invited to join and contribute to its development.

Sites such as Scootle and The Learning Place also allow students to create and store their own materials for ongoing use.

SCOOTLE [FREE with perpetual access]

Scootle is a 'one stop shop' that provides teachers with FREE access to more than 15,000 digital resources in the National Digital Learning Resources Network which is managed by Education Services Australia (ESA).  Scootle provides easy ways for teachers to find, organise and use the digital resources which include:

  • interactive, multimedia resources
  • audio, photo and video resources that result from partnerships with national private and public cultural and collection agencies
  • open-ended tools for teachers and students to create learning resources
  • interactive assessment resources
  • work samples
  • collections of curriculum resources
  • teacher ideas and units of work.

USQ Staff and Students can register to access Scootle  by filling in the online registration form .  Once you have registered, view the tutorials on accessing Curriculum Resources or creating your own Learning Paths

C2C resources

C2C materials are located in a closed web site currently available through OneSchool and OnePortal (DoE employees only Feb 2018). The Curriculum into Classroom website Oct 2018 suggests resources are also available through Scootle - see above

The Learning Place

The USQ Faculty of Education is now an affiliate of the Learning Place, which means, as a student, you can join if you wish. View information on application process, and download the application form.
